Philosophy

I strive to bring empathy and support to leaders to help them transform the ordinary into the extraordinary for themselves and their teams. In a world of constant change, I guide them in their journey through introspection, exploration, and awareness to identify their image of success and overcome their inner and outer limitations and challenges.

I am inspired to be part of the process as they discover their unique attributes and values and develop new leadership skills that allow them to become stronger leaders and apply a sense of purpose and meaning to what they do.

Experience

Mónica Herrera is a certified executive coach and facilitator specializing in leadership development. She works supporting executives to lead their personal leadership and their careers at global companies.

She is a Board member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) in Costa Rica and teaches the ICF coaching competencies at a certified Level 1 coaching school in Costa Rica.

Mónica uses her professional experience in banking, finance, and strategic business as the foundation of her consulting and coaching work.

Coming from a Latin American country and having worked in diverse cultural settings, she brings this perspective to the coaching processes. She is fluent in Spanish and English and has conversational French.

On a Personal Note

Mónica lives in Costa Rica. She loves to go to the beach and enjoys nature. She has built, alongside her husband of 26 years, a happy family with their four kids based on trust, communication, respect, and mutual support. She is nurtured by her spiritual life and many friendships from different stages of her life. She strives for excellence and – above all – to see and bring out the good in others.
